Publication about “Solar and Thermal energy” workshop

On the last 7th of June 2019, SunHorizon project participated with other four H2020 projects (HYCOOL, SHIP2FAIR, THERMOSS, and HYBUILD) to “Solar and thermal energy: Europe’s precious energy sources for efficient industries and buildings” workshop, organised in the framework of Sustainable Places (Cagliari – Italy).

The five projects are implementing the most social acceptance renewable energy technologies such as solar panels and heat pumps for both the residential and the industrial sectors, by reducing the energy consumption and increasing the thermal comfort and high performances in industrial processes.

In this workshop, we discussed the progress of five Horizon 2020 projects —HYCOOL, SHIP2FAIR, THERMOSS, SUNHORIZON and HYBUILD — all implementing solar thermal and renewable technologies for buildings and for the industrial sector. The discussion offered opportunities to identify and benchmark key challenges being faced by the projects, both technical and non-technical, and allowed to identify cooperation opportunities.
